Mission Statement

The original intent of bent antenna records was to be an outlet for great independent music. When I started this label it was primarily to release my own records and find a way to survive in the industry without a major label. As time went on - I decided that the label should grow into a community or collective of artists.

There are so many stuggling indie artists - all doing the same things: Touring and releasing records. What if you could bring them together under one moniker? What if all the groundwork we've laid could be given to another in the hopes of having them reach success even faster? What if this community of artists worked together and helped each other along the path towards making great music?

Hopefully we are in the process of heading that way. We can only hope that each of the artists that becomes a part of bent antenna records will eventually move on to a stonger indie or major label. But for now - if the little bit of experience and knowledge I've gained can help someone else move forward... if we can save money by consolidating our efforts, and sell more cd's and gain more supportive fans and friends by sharing and promoting each other.... then we're doing something right and loving what we do.
